Founded by Ryan Bruyninckx in 2024, Sky Blue Sea combines the best in tech in hopes that we become your one-stop shop, including web and software development and reseller of popular software subscriptions for your home and business.

Ryan's resume is extensive. He most recently served as Principal Software Engineer at TheraBreath, a leading oral care brand, where he was the primary instrument in developing and maintaining their high-volume, high-revenue ecommerce website for over 12 years managing both front-end and backend projects.

In addition to working in the retail and health care manufacturing sectors, Ryan has spent a generous amount of time performing a wide range of IT duties in a myriad of other industries, including travel and hospitality, pet food retail, grocery, beauty, government, real estate, and non-profits. Ryan's clients have included VPs of toy companies, book authors, dentists, distilleries, travel companies, property management companies, and grocery store chains.

Ryan is a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community and believes in getting involved and giving back. He currently serves as co-president of his Homeowners Association in Everett, Washington. He also previously served three years as an elected official of the City of Los Angeles Mid City West Neighborhood Council where he chaired the Communications Committee and created the council's website and implemented their email marketing, as well.

Outside of the office, you will find Ryan admiring the Sky and the Sea and likely wearing blue, his favorite color (hence the business name), or you'll likely run into him at a Seattle Mariners home game, on the leaderboard of a Peloton ride, or tending to his vast collection of houseplants.
